Force Coefficient LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates Birth Log, a mobile application designed for labor and delivery nurses to track baby deliveries. This Privacy Policy explains how Birth Log handles your information.

Information Collection and Use

Birth Log collects minimal, anonymous usage statistics to help us understand how the app is being used and to improve the user experience. We collect:

• Platform: Whether you're using iOS or Android
• App version: Which version of Birth Log you have installed
• Total deliveries logged: A count of how many deliveries you've tracked (not the delivery details themselves)
• Last activity: The last day you opened the app (sent once per day)

This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. We do not collect names, email addresses, account information, or any details about the deliveries you track.

Data Storage

All delivery tracking data you enter in Birth Log (including notes, timestamps, and other delivery details) is stored exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

The anonymous usage statistics listed above are transmitted to Firebase (a Google service) once per day for analytics purposes only.

Third-Party Services

Birth Log uses Firebase (operated by Google) to collect and store the anonymous usage statistics described above. Firebase may collect additional device information as part of its standard operation. Birth Log does not integrate with advertising networks or other third-party services.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your information. You can delete your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual delivery records within the app
• Uninstalling the application from your device

Deleting the application will permanently remove all delivery tracking data from your device.

HIPAA Compliance

Birth Log is designed to assist healthcare professionals in tracking deliveries. However, we do not collect, store, or transmit any Protected Health Information (PHI). Users are responsible for ensuring their use of Birth Log complies with HIPAA and other applicable healthcare privacy regulations in their jurisdiction.

Children's Privacy

Birth Log is intended for use by healthcare professionals and is not directed at children. Since we do not collect any data from users, the app does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy at this URL and updating the "Last updated" date.

Security

Since all data remains on your device and is never transmitted, the security of your information is maintained by your device's built-in security features and protections. We recommend using your device's built-in security features (such as passcodes, biometric locks) to protect sensitive information.
